Why Bumble and bumble?

Bumble and bumble was first introduced to the owner and head stylist at Bobby Hair Studio in 2015. She fell in love with the brand, not only for its quality and range, but also for the love of animals. Bb is a cruelty-free brand. 

What is the difference between Balayage and Ombre?

Balayage: Usually a more subtle, lived in look with a natural finish. Lightener is painted up on the the hair strategically to achieve a soft result with dimension in the entire length of the hair.

Ombre: 100% blonding through the ends, gradually blending up to be darker at the root. Usually known as a more dramatic look in recent years, but Ombre has evolved into a modern and popular look that blends beautifully, but still has that "WOW" factor!

What is included in my Colour or Cut service?

We want you looking your best and that's why we include a wash, blow dry, and styling in all our colour and cut services.

What are the differences between foil types?

Full Head: Applying foils all the way around the head. This includes the nape of the neck, crown, temples, and top of the head. This should be maintained every 3-5 months (depending on the desired look)

Half Head: Applying foils to the temples and along the parting of the hair. This method is commonly used to maintain a full head of foils without having to do the underneath side, saving you time and money. Best to book for every 10-15 weeks.

Partial: Applying foils to specific areas (usually around the face) to brighten or maintain once every 6-10 weeks. This service includes 5-12 foils. 

This is a good image found on Google that shows the difference between a Partial and a full head of foils. If you're looking for blonde to be in more areas than just the front, its a good idea to book for a full head and chat with your stylist.

What if I'm running late?

We understand when life gets busy. We have a 15 minute time frame to start all services. If you feel like you're going to be held up longer than 15 minutes, please give us a call as soon as you know so your stylist can have a chance to see if she is still able to fit you in. 

In most cases, we will need to mark the appointment as "no-show" and re book. To see our policies on late or missed appointments, please see our "Policies" page.

Please do your best to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointments. 

What if I am unhappy with my hair?

At Bobby Hair Studio, our goal is to see you loving your hair. Though we do not do refunds on products or services, we do have a 7 day policy on "un-happy hair" where we will fix any problem areas, or unsatisfactory* results. For retail, we have a 2 week exchange policy so we can find your "forever" products!

*please note that a "change of heart" does not apply and customers who ask for a new look will  be expected to pay full price.
